When you install a water temp gauge you could this sensor / sender unit adapter in between a radiator hose. Simply cut the radiator hose in half and place this in the middle. You then use our wired sensor unit that screws into this. Plug in the connections from the wire sensor or wire it up and then from here you can start reading the water temperature on your gauge.
