Each gearbox starts with a brand new genuine Toyota R154 transmission sourced directly from Japan, then professionally assembled in New Zealand by KASPA Transmissions New Lynn using the JDM Garage straight cut gear set.

The R154 is widely regarded as one of the strongest factory R154 variants ever produced, making it the perfect platform for high horsepower 1JZ and 2JZ builds and any engine swap.

As far as we are aware, this is one of the only fully assembled brand new built R154 straight cut gearboxes currently available in New Zealand, and one of the only turnkey assembled packages available worldwide.
